The short version
- These terms cover this website, not the Ornova product.
- Please use the site lawfully and don’t try to break it. If you find a security issue, see our security page.
- The site is provided as it is, and our liability is limited as far as the law allows.
Who we are and what these terms cover
These terms are an agreement between you and Ornis Labs (“we”, “us”) about your use of ornislabs.com and its pages, including the Ornova pages (the “site”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it. Company registration is in progress; we’ll add our registered name and address here once it’s complete.
Ornova, our AI product, isn’t available yet. When it launches, it will have its own terms.
Using the site
You may browse and share the site for any lawful purpose. Please don’t:
- break the law, or help anyone else break it, through the site,
- try to get unauthorised access to the site, our systems or our data,
- disrupt or overload the site, or interfere with anyone else’s use of it,
- pretend to be Ornis Labs or suggest we endorse you when we don’t.
Good-faith security research that follows our security policy is welcome and isn’t a breach of these terms.
Our content and names
The site’s text, design and graphics belong to Ornis Labs or the people who license them to us. You’re welcome to link to the site and to quote short passages with credit. “Ornis Labs”, “Ornova” and our logos are names we use to identify our company and products; please don’t use them in a way that suggests a connection with us that doesn’t exist. The fonts on this site are used under their open licences.
Information on the site
We describe our goals and plans on this site. They are goals, not promises, and they may change. Nothing on the site is an offer to sell anything or a guarantee of how Ornova will perform. Links to other websites are for convenience; we aren’t responsible for their content.
Disclaimer
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it, express or implied, including that it will always be available, error-free or secure.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, Ornis Labs won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from your use of the site, and our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to US$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or any rights you have as a consumer that can’t be waived.
Changes and ending use
We may update these terms; the effective date at the top will change when we do. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply. We may change, suspend or stop the site at any time.
